Unknown plants

    The first plant is Cherry laurel and the second is Cotoneaster.David.

    Thanks David!

    Now after reading up on the Cherry Laurel according to Wikipedia it has 'invasive potential' and has 'rapid growth'. So now I'm not sure where to plant it!

    I'll post a new message for advice on planting to see if anyone has any suggestions!

    Hi aquarian, I wouldn`t say that cherry laurel is invasive but it can grow big. Can make a good hedge but takes a lot of work to keep tidy because, ideally, they should be pruned with secateurs rather than clipped with shears. David.
