along with that I have partial dispatches but that's because of the extra 48 Carnation Plug Plants I was offered for £4.99 at checkout so I've got 4 lots of those as well for nothing, not not to mention I have about the same amount of orders for the 27th but thats a mixture of seeds and lots of Garlic which I couldn't miss at the price.

 

How does one "partially despatch" an order?

Only my seeds have been despatched. No mention of autumn and winter plugs and plants. Assume these will follow at some point.

 

The account checker still isn't working for me, so the first I'll know is when the postie starts delivering, so unless bundling them together delays them, some of mine should arrive first as I started ordering on the Friday, but delayed posting until Saturday to give mine a chance to get through incase a deluge of virtually free orders mucked things up for me. Good job money saving sites like HUKD and MSE didn't get to hear about this as that could had killed it for everybody on here.

@Loofah Why don't 'watch' the bargains board and subscribe to email alerts for new threads?

This might've been the last opportunity to take advantage of a deal like this at VM, T&M have stopped overlapping offers, and opportunities for decent savings are constantly dissapearing (being fixed), for example M&S reduced their Xmas gifts for 2 years running at 50% off folllowed by a 2nd 50% off reduction, but their 2nd reductions were still on the full price making everything free. We then took all of our Xmas gifts back and exchanged them for credit notes (at back to full price) to buy stuff we actually wanted.

 

I cant see them ever allowing this " special offer " again.

A BIG THANKS to VM for allowing these orders to go through as they could have easily claimed missprice/web glitch and cancelled all orders. Great customer service.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they had quick check on how many had taken advantage of this wonderful opportunity before letting orders to go out, and assuming that was the case, then I'm very happy with VM's service.

 

First batch of orders delivered today for own address, more seeds (big toms, French beans, sweet peas, etc.) and garlic to follow, you'll probably spot that I'm a keen tomato grower (and there's more to come!). Received most of my £0.00 to pay orders, the picking sheets don't include any costs whatsoever, so nothing to show that nothing was paid.

EDIT: All orders in separate envelopes.

Have moved on to Wilkos reduced seeds now, 75% off + 3 for 2 = three x £1 pkts for only 50p.

 

So far only got notification that my 1st order which then entitled me to £5 off has been despatched. Hell I hope I don't just get that and they cancel the rest as if that happens I will be worse off than if I hadn't ordered anything!

 

It appears as if orders from accounts don't get email confirmations of dispatch, you need to check online for that, link in bottom right hand corner of VM home page, but non-account orders I've made are getting email confirmations of dispatch, for example for an order placed on Fri 24th July I received a dispatch confirmation email on Wed 29th July and I'm still awaiting delivery. The orders I received today were dispatched on Mon 27th July.

@silu , I'm confident that you (and everyone else) will receive all your orders.
