I bought a home made Steak pie the size of a dinner plate from the indoor market at Wem in Shropshire when visiting my sister. I'll be visiting my sister again soon, but really I'm going for another of those pies......woooooonderful!!!:heehee:

It' was a great pie, Jool, and it only cost £3.50p and yet was, as I said, the size of a dinner plate and stuffed with meat.:snork: I don't know how they did it for the price.:dunno:

They had a publicity campaign with Michael Buble and he was appearing on every Radio Station in the UK, and one or two TV shows. You couldn't switch on the Radio and not hear him Bubling away on the air. I quite liked him at first but the incessant campaign and hearing the same song over and over again drove me in the opposite direction.:dunno:

Going back to the original posting, I am worse than most I have to admit ...

I actually go to McD's and buy a dozen and bring them home and freeze them ... then when I have a 'craving' I don't have to drive 40kms but can just go to my freezer and take one out and nuke it ... cheap and cheerful and satisfies that craving! :sofa:

 Yes, Mum. Put them into individual baggies, seal and freeze. When the 'craving' comes, take one out of the freezer, out of the baggie, loosen the McD wrapping, leave for 15 minutes and put in the micro for 30 secs (depending on the power of your micro) .. heaven ... xx

Shame I don't have one tonight but am doing Kraft Cheesy Pasta in the microwave instead ... t'other half is American and loves all this stuff ... after 45 years a girl knows what a girl needs to know ... I've already said this ...
