    Joolz, you can cook raw meat which is previously frozen and then freeze the cooked meat. So, think a frozen chicken, defrosted, roasted; leftovers made into a curry and freeze the chicken curry.

    You cannot defrost raw meat and then refreeze it raw. Likewise, you shouldn't defrost a cooked meat and then refreeze it.

        They have just been cooked ... I take them home and freeze them ... safe ? I can't tell you except I've done this for years and I am now coming up to 65 and still alive and well and 'I'm loving it ...' ... sorry, for the latter comment ...

          I buy choice cuts for my chooks and ducks and I eat the leftovers :whistle:

            You can buy microwave burgers in the chilled cabinet these days. Not a fan personally (I prefer my homemade burgers). But, if both my lads make it to Uni next October, I can see they would like your tip of bulk buying, freezing and nukin a McD's to see them through long nights of study :heehee:

              I would only be trying a macs double cheese burger in the freezer but do i need to take the gerkins& cheese off or it it all good to go in there? :) how many diff macs have you froze up to now victoria?:dancy:im not well up on the menu as i stick to the same but the rest of the family have alsorts :heehee:
