Update on my cat Simian.

how's Simian now? Is he making a good recovery?

I am so sorry for the lack of updates these last few weeks. It's been devilish busy on the home front, and I've only found the time this week, to catch up with myself..

Simmy is doing great!!! He's had the external frame off for 3 weeks now, and has been allowed more freedom out of the cage. For the last week, he's been spending his days in the oldest part of the house, so he's been able to go up and down the stairs, helping to build his muscles up. Mind you, he's had more of a cage rest day today, as I felt he'd developed a slight gait to his walk, so we've rested him today. He's been such a good boy, I'm so pleased he's recovered so well. We're due back at the hospital on Tuesday of next week, to have the final check, and to see if the internal pin will be removed, or trimmed down and left in situ. He'll possibly have to have more cage rest for a week or so if they remove it, but I'll be guided by what they say.. But He's nearly there! YAY..

That's such good news @Joolz Im so pleased Simmy is doing so well.
Good luck at the hospital next week, do let us know how you get on.
I hope life is calming down for you now, it's all or nothing isn't it?! I hope the builders are all finished & your house is taking shape.

 

Glad Simmy is over the worst of it now Joolz. Good luck at the final check up. Let us know how it goes.
