Worth posting a closeup of the leaf to be sure I think? preferably a photo with a light shining through the leaf - which will help to show if the veins are broken. I think it is a bit difficult to judge (on those sort of stripy varieties) as the veins looks sort of blurred even on healthy specimens

    :( Doesn't look good

These are the veins that look "blown" that would bother me:

Send your original photo to vendor and see what they say?

      Got email response from them.

      Hi Sean,
It's impossible to say from the photo if the Canna has virus or is
clean. As I said, they are fresh stock from US so even if they had
picked up a virus this year it wouldn't be showing yet. I think lots of
people see a defect or odd colouration on a leaf and immediately blame
virus, especially on Phaison and Pretoria which have such weird and
      pronounced variegation.
Do I detect a slight red pattern on the Musa? They start green when
small and then turn red. Admittedly you were one of the last of our
customers to be sent Siam Ruby, and we sent out those with more advanced
colouration first, but if it's got some red on the leaf the rest will
      follow.
I understand your concern and hope this answers it. Any problem with
them next spring let me know.
      Regards
      Liz

That will do for me can't ask for anymore :blue thumb:
