Urgent help needed

The stress of being caught to treat the animal can often finish them off, not an easy call by any means.

 

I think a lot depends on where you live and what kind of upbringing you have had.
It's obvious someone like me living all my life in a City would deal with wildlife very differently to someone in the country.
I could not kill a living thing ever.
Even if it was for it's own good.
Thats not saying it's wrong.
But just not for me.
Thats what the Vet is for.
Country people deal with wildlife all the time ,were as I feel lucky to catch a glims of a Fox or bird of prey.
So when they get into trouble I don't no what to do.
I had to take that bird to the Vet , I couldn't just leave it to suffer or even worse for the cat to come back and finish it off.
Within an hour of finding it the poor thing was at the Vets.
It could have been waiting to die for days.
20 mins out of my life was a small thing to do.
I don't no if it was right or not but it was right for me.
