As you all know, I love cats although I don't have any at the moment.

    Kedi is Turkish for cat
    &
Gato is Spanish and Portuguese for cat

Both words sounded good together, Sis thought so too.

My avatar is my darling Gato who went up to Cat Heaven last August 1st. Sis put it up for me from a picture taken several years ago.

My signature is one that Sis found and put up for me as a surprise. I didn't have one up till then.

Happy Birthday from me too, pip, have a lovely day

Carrying on from user names, i too chose mine in rather a panic when i first got my PC online. I chose it cos i liked the 'Borrower' books when i was young & also that i'm quite small - well height now not size  .

Kedi-Gato - i love the way you've used different languages. and you're right, it sounds great.

It is interesting to see how people pick names.

Pip - are you a bit posh. Wasn't Pip in a Dickens book, who 'came well at the end'? At least you're not 'Flip' which just reminds me of Shameless now! Anyway Many Happy Returns. Hope you have a great day. Cheers for an interesting thread.

Never heard of Georgie Fame [IMG] but heard of the Blue Flames. :D When I worked in the garden centre, there were 2 Davids, myself and our delivery driver. So he became Dai the Driver and I became Dai the Plant. ( Because I managed the plant section ). :D

I used to be michaelmadaisy - simply because the day I signed on I had just planted some in my garden! They are also one of my favourite flowers though.

But I got fed up with ppl addressing me as "Michael" so I changed it. Would have much preferred to be just Daisy but the name has been taken!

Being a sentimental old git. I used my g-childrens initials and juggled a bit. I use this user name on all garden sites so everyone knows the depth of my ignorance and doesn't take any advice too seriously!! I use different and more appropriate user names on Sport and Science sites. [IMG]
