I like the fact that I can ram the hose up Rover's backside and he blows very well too :)

He blows from the back too, but he refuses to puff where needed. You'd think a pint of beer would at least dust a side table.

            @Fat Controller
Thanks, but I'm fairly sure I can find it if it has one. :blue thumb:

The Sebo arrived a day early so credit to dispatch at Amazon and the courier. I didn't know how many pics to place here but thought blow it and uploaded them all. :) It was easy to put together with all parts clipping into place including the main body to the foot. This model is only available in white, although it is an off-white.

              IMG_3165.JPG

It has a small computer on board linked to sensors for various parts of the machine. Any problems will light up here on the foot including when the brush rises or falls on different carpet piles.
              IMG_3167.JPG

Storage and removal of the pipes is straight forward and the cleaner has a longer cable than most that are produced now. The on/off switch is on the handle.
              IMG_3168.JPG

The foot release has an adjustment to drop the body part way or fully to the floor to vac underneath furniture.
              IMG_3169.JPG

              IMG_3171.JPG

              IMG_3172.JPG

I've not used the pipes yet but they are easily removable from a clip.....
              IMG_3173.JPG

...... the hardware of the handle can be left in situ and the flexible hose removed.
              IMG_3176.JPG

The top of the dust bag slides and clips in. They are supplied with a cap for sealing when full and can be filled to the top according to instructions.
              IMG_3180.JPG

The wheel in the middle of the underside provides a sensor for the adjustment of brush height which is done automatically by the cleaner, there's no need to flick a switch on different floor coverings. There is a button on the top left side of the foot to release a hatch on the side of the foot body to allow easy removal of the brush.
              IMG_3182.JPG

So far I'm very impressed. In motion it glides over floors almost as if it's on air and doesn't gripe on longer piled carpets - putting strain on the hand, arm and shoulder that's pushing it. It's also quieter than other makes of cleaners.

My wife has an assortment of vacuum cleaners, because of her MS, she can't manage anything too heavy.

                        These are for downstairs.

A Bissell Oxypower carpet shampoo/cleaner, a Shark, and a small Multireach. (There's a rod that can go on the end of it, handy for cobwebs).

                        Plus this Vax
                        P1010628.JPG

The Oxypower was new a year ago, we've not used it yet. I'm waiting for her to tell me when, but as our carpets don't get a lot of traffic and everyone who comes into our house has to remove their shoes, they stay quite clean.

This GTec is for the stairs.

                        P1010629.JPG

This Shark is for upstairs. Saves carrying the other one upstairs.

                        P1010630.JPG

She also has a steam mop for the laminate floor in the kitchen, plus a GTec sweeper like a Bex Bissell for crumbs.

I've two of her old cleaners, one for the car, the other for the garage, plus an old steam mop for the vinyl floor of the tea-house.

Over the years efficient vacuum cleaners have become much smaller and many are battery operated making them lighter. We've changed vacuum cleaners for those which she finds more manageable.
We've had a couple of Dysons, the last was the one with the ball, but it got too heavy for her so I sold it on e-Bay last year, replaced by the Shark and the Vax.

For as long as she can manage the cleaning, I'm happy to change the equipment as and when necessary. Beats having to do it myself.

We have a Dyson and a Vax. The Dyson is a DC04 model, which we bought in 2001, and still going strong. As parts wear out or become damaged, we just replace them.
