Nice looking cauliflower. I grow snowball too, although I picked them a couple of months ago. I planted them close this year, a foot apart for mini heads which worked well. I've got some romanesco in the ground for autumn though.

I've been picking corn and a couple of leeks that bolted. Also most of the tomatoes, and had to pick most of the winter squash. Watered the celeriac, first time watering outside since early june!

Have you gathered your butternut squash yet? Mine are still out, and should I worry?

All our butternut squash have been lifted - simply because they are ready and we were preparing the veg plots for Spring.

Strongly recommend to everyone with space to grow cucumbers. Extremely productive plants and each crop saves a £ from the store. We grow french ghurkin which was decent and telepathy f1 which was a real monster. Lovely yummy cukes, we should have harvested them earlier but letting them get gigantic was too fun. Our biggest telapathy was 45 cm long and weighed nearly a kilo. Dont put them out too early though, we had to restart after i killed the first lot with cold
