A lot of regulars have gone elswere or dont post as often on here now. Those who use the site regularly will probably understand why.

Strongy and Pro - we often have a quiet spell about now although I do agree it is quieter than usual.
I belong to other forums and they are all a bit slow.

I am sure it will pick up in a while :yez:

    Your quote
"Plus Himself has been unwell, Ma has been unwell and is still poorly....so much so that our trip to India might be jepordised"

Sounds like a worrying time for you.
Hope it all works out ok for you and you get your trip to India.

Perhaps, amongst other things, people are waiting with bated breath for the
    American Presidential results :dh:

and KandyFloss, I haven't deserted GC - I have been a member of other forums for
nearly as long as I have been on here, plus running my own forum :thmb:

I was just thinking the quality of gardening posts had improved over quantity of 'Miscellaneous posts' to be honest.

My favourite thread that I have read this evening has to be this one about chillies http://www.gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=18174

I have some seed grown, nearly foot high plants that I am over wintering this year in hope of some fine fruits next year:D

Don't forget GC is a large source of gardening information that can be exploited via the search facility. :thmb: Resurrecting old threads of interest is a good way to start new conversations and share new experiences with different plants etc :) This is particularly good to do during the winter where not much growing goes on.

And, of course, some of us work at weekends:mad: Shifts, even.
But I've just had a bit of news that might change that. Can't find a "turning cartwheels" Smilie:)

Super hot :D I used Scotch Bonnets (lots of) in a con-carni once, not knowing their heat. Ruined the the chilli as it was, and I ended up doubling the ingredients to cope with the immense cutting heat they gave off!:lollol:

:thumb: The chilli thread is a good one BM...!! I love Scotch bonnets & use them all the time...!!!!:dh::lollol::lollol:Hot hot hot...!!!! Yummy..!!!:D

:( Another reason it is allot quieter at this time of year is not just half term etc & shopping, but there is also allot of illness around at the moment i know of 3 regulars who are ill or in hospital... Surprising though it always goes quiet around now, then busies up later in Nov again..... The other forums I also visit are all allot quieter at the moment...!! So more to do with the time of year..!! I am now going for a few weeks as well... So see you all soon...!!:thmb:
