I decided to have a mini break from my usual Aussie scenes and decided to do this one (still Antipodean).

It is the playing with 'light' that brings out the colours like that and makes the picture so much more 'alive'! ;)

Thank you DAG, rosa, marge and wildflower for all your comments which, of course, encourage me.

It's funny, you try something you don't think you can do and then you surprise yourself!

Well, wildflower, if you have the dinosaur ...

I should be finished this next one by tomorrow. I feel like a one-person productino line. T'other half says I remind him of these orientals who knock one famouns painting copy out after another!

He's going to make the frames this weekend. Then we have to figure out prices and take them to the gallery.

Thanks, Hornbeam, that is excellent! I knew you wouldn't let me down! I'm saving all of these as they are such fun.

Do you mean found my style with the trees/water, this more modern piece or following the Aussie theme ... or all or some of the above?

Must say, I am thoroughly enjoying it so much so I have to go buy more canvasses tomorrow! [IMG]
