For the first time I have worked on canvass board (9ins x 11ins, just a wee bit bigger than A4) as opposed to stretched canvas and am not so keen as it doesn't "give".

Like The Colour is Orange, the painting is only done with two colours, in this case yellow and blue (white doesn't count as a colour). Again, difficult to photograph.

    Out of the Blue ...

Sorry I missed your Fire in the Sky two days ago Sis. The few alterations have made it a different picture and one to be proud of, well done.

I love Out of the Blue! I am thinking though that if the yellow in the middle right and left were toned down just a fraction it would be even better. I find this colour just a tad too bright for the rest of the picture. Otherwise, A-1!

Thank you DAG and K-G. I must say, because of my photography skills (ie, virtually none) it is difficult to capture colours. BM will back me on this (not that I'm saying he has no photography skills, )

The picture is not so citrus yellow is reality although it seems to jump out of this picture.

I must also make a correction here. The Colour of Orange was done in three colours ... lemon yellow, orange and black ... sorry! [IMG]

Have to give the painting a rest occasionally, so crocheted another summer top. The back is lower than the front (best that way around, I figured :D )
