Looks great, I love the feather detail on the swan, very life like.

My brother is a keen ametaur artist and paints with acrylic, but seems reluctant to paint on canvas, a shame as it imo sets things off better than paper.

Oh, thank you Pro and Babe. [IMG] It's nice to get input.

Pro, I really can't work with anything other than stretched canvas. I completely dislike working with canvasboard, there was just no "give". I couldn't even imagine working on paper!

Babe, I just fell in love with woo's swan pictures and thought "do something different" since I have no direction still. [IMG]

Look in tomorrow ... there's another sunset coming ... slightly different ... I'm addicted to them, I think ...

Oh, you do have confidence in me, walnut, thank you! [IMG] I have a lovely picture of a baby Screech Owl sitting in our sink that Boo brought into the house ... maybe I'll have a go. [IMG]

Here is my first painting for 2008 ... Tropicana ... I have put a little cabana in it ...

That's lovely, Sis! I think that these orange colours are your thing, you work so well with them.

That is great LoL. It would look great in an art deco setting. Very 30s - palm trees and art deco orange. I don't know much about art (actually Mrs Sarra, who used to teach spotty oicks art, calls me a philistine) but I think that is fantastic.

Am I allowed to say that as a philistine? If not send me a couple of litres of port and I will withdraw it. :D

Goodness ... go away for a while watching programmes about Brits wanting to move to the sun (God only knows why) and look what I come back to. [IMG] to you all. xx

Sorry, forgot to say ... it's acrylic on stretched canvas, 30cm x 40cm.

Thank you woo, Cutie, Sis, John, DAG, Babe, John you're back again ...

I'm still looking for direction but I think this IS one of my "styles".

Babe, it's FOUR MONTHS ... don't force ME closer to that big number earlier than need be. John, he's a Taurean ... I know ... he's definitely lost direction, must be the cold! [IMG]
