Thanks Sis. As I said to Cutie, it's not quite the 3D I planned on. The little owl is really cute in reality, with touchy-feely feathers. [IMG]

Walnut, ever my encouragement ... I'll work on the sidewalk art.

Marley, I'm still in a learning curve and going in all directions it seems at the moment.

Kathy ... me too! It's based on my wall art on my dining patio where we put a false arch on the side of the shed (which I rendered) and put a bench in front and then I painted a scene behind ...

    Thank you all. [IMG]

By the way, any constructive criticism would be welcome along with all the lovely comments ... you only learn by your mistakes. [IMG]

Like Kedigato, I have 3 pictures to catch up with as well!

I think the owl is a good effort for a difficult subject.

I like the colourful 'Sunset from the Deck', well done!

In 'Paradise',the perspective is wrong on the right hand wall for 2 reasons, but it is nonetheless effective and a clever idea! I like that very much.

Regarding your wall art at the dining patio, I think it works well in that setting because you have kept it simple and therefore looks fine when viewed from all angles, and so much better than a blank wall! [IMG]

So keep it coming, keep painting and enjoy yourself! [IMG] [IMG] :D [IMG]

Hi, stranger! Thank you for your comments, DAG. I think I know where you are talking about re persective ... I'll e-mail you with my thoughts on that.

I have got to tidy up the wall art, it needs "refreshing" ... but not until that unsightly wall is painted under the ballustrades!

hi LoL well what can i say lovely, i do agree with dag.
I like this patio art but feel theres something missing unless its the picture you took not showing up all the colours, can you take another photo iff you dont mind, i cant see any dividing line from the land to sky, hope you dont mind but you have asked for true comments. it looks lovely i do like it.
I also have 3 paintings i need to get started with soon

    Thank you, Sweetie. [IMG]

The wall art scene was painted in February 2002 and is a little bit sun faded after six years and as I mentioned above I have to rework it in the Spring but not until the ghastly wall with the ballustrades is repainted.

Of course I don't mind constructive criticism ... I asked for it. DAG by e-mail has sent me some wonderful diagrams of correcting the perspective of my marble arches on the Paradise Found picture.

Looking forward to seeing what stunning masterpieces you are working on with all your new fresh ideas from Goa. [IMG]

Thank you Pro. xx I would love to do wall art as a profession.

I'm really quite pleased at the moment because I have been given three months free advertising in the Algarve's glossy magazine, GoodLife, starting with the March issue.

Having taken counsel from my art mentor, DAG, I have altered the perspective on the right hand wall of Paradise Found ...

I know, I cropped the picture somewhat crookedly. :D

I have also decided to venture into a genre I have avoided before ... people ... Nude with Red Satin ...

She is painted in acrylics on a 60cm x 20cm stretched canvas.
