What a sweet man, Ziggy ... made me smile ... again ... :)

:luv: Oh my dear woo, thank you for your good wishes and that is one of my favourites .. so much so I have it on display in my own home ... :hehe: I hope the Little Owl is still comfortable and warm in Kent .....

It's all my Eucalyptus tree paintings that have gone (and obviously the prints are of Dead Tree Lake) so I'll have to sort more out to display at the venue ... :ntwrth:

That is good news so congratulations Victoria and what a great start to the new year! :gnthb:

You have done well and I think you should keep going as you do have great imagination.

My favourite of yours is the 'Dead Tree Lake'.

:) Thank you Dave, DAG, Sis, Pete and DaveW for all of your congratulations and good wishes. Yes, it started the new year off well as people have been disinclined to part with their money this past year ... but it was certainly a positive start for me.

I have some round frameless anvasses to experiment with ....

Havning not done anything in a year, I decided to paint one of the flowers that create a landscape with their own presence ... both in the UK and here in Portugal where they take over the orchards, hillsides and wastelands.

I have done Poppies on a 60cm round stretched canvas (a first for me), in acrylics with a black leather-effect background and am sort of pleased with it ... the problem is I can never photograph them well to their best advantage ... but here is Poppies ...

I've had a lot of interest in it but I'm not sure I want to sell it to be honest.
