I've got to give this a rest for a few days and start something else. My latest Aussie offering is done on two 60cm x 20cm canvases so they can sit side by side or with a mirror in between ...

 

lol..Thats nice i was wondering where the next painting was and you have done two !!Well i bet that was tricky but you have done a great job as usual..you can sell that one .. buy one get one free !!! :D

 

Thanks, wildflower. It did take an extra day with the extra pic. I think I need to change those two green hills in the background looks like a pair of ... :eek: !

 

did you mean a padded bra !! :D well apart from the mountains dont change anything else as its perfect as it is..

 

What a brilliant idea! It will look great with the mirror in between, once youve done some cosmetic surgery on them there hills!! (Only joking, they looked ok to me )

 

I think that is just wonderful, and a clever idea, there is a name for doing 2 or more paintings together like that but I just can't remember it, perhaps HB can help?

You just keep going, wonderful, and BTW I like big mountains anyway! :eek: :D

 

Dag - two paintings is called a diptych - three is a triptych!

 

I told DAG that by e-mail, marge, (although I might have said a bi- ) but he didn't believe me!

Thanks, Hornbeam. No, but I have a cousin who was one of the first to go there in the 50s was it? She still works at age 82 for the Department of the Envirnoment and I get lots of photos and such like from her. She lives in South Australia.
