Did a green afghan. The sofa it is on is a two seater. I have some yellow and royal blue yarn to play around with now.
Think I take after my Auntie who brought me up. She knitted non stop, even when she was cooking, work under armpit. She could knit a Fairisle pullover in a week ... everyone got sick of pullovers! I started a granny square afghan so I can do a square at a time so it will be a while before I finish anything else as I hope to spend time outdoors.
Oh Wowser!!! That is truly fabulous Vicky, striking in both colour combination and pattern design....love it!!
I've still got 7 yellow and 2-1/2 blue left so I may make another one which will get me through May, then I will stop for the Summer. Maybe this shows the colours better.
Just finished an afghan I have been working on for a couple of months. It is an Acrylic/Angora yarn so very lightweight..
Oooooh!! That looks lovely Vicky , I love the colours. Well done . I know I'm always saying it but...I must try and learn how to Crochet. No doubt I will repeat myself again next Winter.
Upsydaisy it's very easy to crochet, when i was 11 i used to use a knitting needle and i learnt it from a school friend the same age as me.
