    Wild animals - Yes
Domestic animals - No. They should be confined.

It's OK for dogs to predate on sheep?

Cats don't kill sheep or attacK humans (unless provoked in which case the human in question is asking for trouble)
They are essentially wild animals and have a legal 'right to rome'. They kill mice voles small birds and other vermine, and so keep the population of those things down. It's the way nature is. You have to accept all animals the way they are.

And it isn't the cats' fault if the species they hunt are endangered. That's the fault of humans.

Here I shall stop talking about cats. It isn't what this thread is for. If you don't like cats you don't like cats, and let that be an end to it.

I admit it is technically my fault as all my craftwork goes to support a charity for homeless colony cats. :cat-kittyandsmiley::dbgrtmb:

That's a good cause, and this thread isn't an opportunity for cat haters to spout off.

It's not your fault, cats are classed as wild animals.

Back to the subject. I am working on an afghan/throw for our bedroom and it is giving me grief ... because I ordered the yarn from two different suppliers and the batch numbers are different. Therefore, I am having to play around using some yarn from the middle and another from the outside!

Thank you Logan. I will obviously show the final product. It is lovely yarn to work with.

It's very nice @Victoria, I like those colours, and the different stitchings are interesting.

Thank you Michael. I had a brainstorm in the night. The colours look so familiar ... then i remembered I made a bedspread many years ago, 25 and more, so this morning I had J going on a search ... and ...
... this is half its size ... and now on the bed.

This was done with individual colours whereas the current one is gradient.

So now I am having second thoughts on the new one, maybe for Charity.

I have a lot of yarn left (6 balls) so will continue with another I guess.

Thank you Upsy. I quite like it but have now put the old (posted above last weekend) on the bed so this one may go in the cat charity bag. Have started a scarf now. I have to keep my hands busy.
