Oh, well done ... they are so cute. I can't do such detail, never could, that's why I do Afghans, scarves, etc.

I think neck cowls are better than scarves. I have one, and fingerless gloves, the type with half a finger actually (besides my fine leather gloves). My brother in law took a neck cowl back to Germany as he thought they were so great.

I love the neck cowl, Victoria! Have you done an “infinity cowl”? It’s made a little looser than an ordinary cowl, with a half-turn when joining up…. I find that they are v good at trapping warm air around the neck!

Oh wow Vicky that is fab!! Is the colouring patternation naturally obtained in the yarn or did you have to use different shades ? Love it.

These are wonderful @Victoria! I took a beginners knitting class in December and am currently trying to knit some ribbed legwarmers. I am very slow! :)

Thank you @michael Hewitt, @Upsydaisy, @Logan and @PassTheFox. Jim likes it better than I do and says we must keep it and not give it to the Cat Charity. I have started on a baby blanket now. @PassTheFox it is crochet and I contribute most of what I do to a Cat charity who look after about 300 colony cats, ie, feed them, neuter them and take care of their medical needs. We are both cat lovers and they have owned us for 56 years.

It's Hewett with an E @Victoria, otherwise I won't get an alert, and a different Michael will think you're talking to him :heehee:
(My Hewett ancestors were very adamant that it was spelt with an E  )

No need to apologize @Victoria, I don't really mind, but unless you spell Hewett with an E, I don't receive the alert, and it goes to some other 'Michael'. That's the only reason I pointed it out
