Thanks, yeah I'm pretty chuffed! My luck didn't end there either, I entered a raffle with a friend and won a VIP area in O'Neill's in Cardiff to watch the Mayweather and McGregor fight! Get in!

                Good advice.

Make a list now of everything you saw where you think you might have a chance next year, research the best varieties to sow, when to sow so they'll be at their prime, growing and preparation tips, etc.

I only entered 2 classes this year, but got 2 first prizes.

I'm going to follow my own advice above for next year.

Is it for longest carrot or heaviest carrot?

EDIT: Read the schedule - bunch of 3 long carrots? I guess that's quality long carrots not giant ones with massively long roots and in giant vegetable longest carrot classes. Ones like these Exhibition long show carrot growing attempt

Checkout this link later on when new seed becomes available VEGETABLE SEED - Carrots - Long - Medwyns Prize Vegetable Seeds or email to check they'll be getting fresh stock.

What sort of lengths were the entries for 'longest runner bean'?

Those are all 'standard length' beans, you need to grow a special variety to get really long ones.

What's the judging criteria for Class13: Tomatoes. Truss as grown ?

Is it heaviest weight, number of tomatoes, longest, or appearance, etc.?
