VIRGIN MEDIA CUSTOMERS / HAVE YOU EMAILED ME?

I use Natwest online banking, but only for checking balances, I dont have the mobile phone app, in fact I dont use hardly any mobile phone apps.
Mobile phones are just another toy, good when they work, but no signal? well might as well use it prop up that wonky leg on the table

Technology, one day they might get it to work well and be user friendly, but I'm not holding my breath, it seems the more you do on the internet the more likely you are to get hacked.
The internet is basically leaking like a sieve, and NOBODY CARES

Correct Harry. When this news was first released I read that it was Virgin taking over. It makes no difference in the long run Clydesdale will dwindle like all the other amalgamations.

Yep, they are worth the same and spend the same as all the others I've discovered.

Both. Not so much at the moment because Clydesdale runs a 'tight ship' security wise. It's when the takeover happens and things as usual go into decline, like all the other amalgamations have.

Been there done that! We banked with Barclays for close on 30 years and had no problems until we decided to move here to the Highlands. We previously spent 24 years living on the Isle of Man and Barclays wouldn't allow us to transfer our accounts here without closing them and re-opening them. There were other obstacles as well so we went straight into Clydesdale Bank, opened accounts and had our money transferred with no hassle.

Mobile phones aren't an issue as ours are antiquated. Our security is good, our own experiences in banking have made sure of that.

I don't know about security Ricky but on banking.....draw your cash and stuff your mattress with it!

I have had a Virgin email address for 20 years as well ( Blueyonder.co.uk ). I have moved most of my email traffic over to a Gmail address now . I have found Gmail very reliable.

 

Agree with Harry, should get rid of VM mail urgently, what price security.

Would use one or two new addesses for you everyday contacts /surfing and keep another just for financial sites in case the hacker is someone you communicate with.

 

Me too Harry. I got fed up with ongoing issues with Yahoo and changed to Gmail about six months ago.
