Just to add another one to the list of trees which can play host to Mistletoe, I saw some growing on a Norway Maple (Acer platanoides) today.

Spotted the mistletoe in Tesco's today. £3.00 for a couple of sad looking sprigs.

Now the leaves have fallen I noticed 2 clumps growing in the Big tree opposite the house, think its an Acacia or something not from round here.

Precisely ! Because they were plundered by lowlife long before it should have been cut

Zig, that's a good sized clump.

You'd think I would have noticed it before today though:DOH:

Zigs 'Mistletoe tree' photo on another thread just reminded me.

Another 'host' species to add to the list above; I spotted some Mistletoe growing in a Sycamore tree close to home just a couple of days ago. Never seen it in Sycamore before.
