Andy Rouse is a fabulous pro :) Very well respected, and quite rightly so :dbgrtmb:

I think I just made a little rhyme

What is with the blue cast on some of the other shots??
Not to my taste (different photographer).

Not my taste either, the ones over Bristol look unnatural, maybe the white balance is not set correctly.

I'd love a framed print of that Andy Rouse one over Beachy Head though.

That was my first thought too. I always shoot in RAW so that any white balance issues can easily be sorted afterwards.
@Kandy , those blades are quite noisy in formation aren't they. A cross between a hum and a buzz from a distance. Always remind me of a war film :)

Another great display today by The Blades, but the camera was at the lock-up across town .
@Kandy , we obviously live quite close to each other. If you ever want to meet one day at the airfield (with Mr.Kandy ...naturally :) ), then let me know. It would be nice to meet you :)

That's a fair comment @Jiffy :). Yeah, you generally get a certain amount, but that looks excessive. If you look at the home page for The Blades, you can see it there too, but it looks a bit more natural.

                    Very good @Jiffy :snork:
I use this filter, and make some tweaks to the white balance. I might be going up with one of the pilots soon, so I will be taking this lens and filter with me :blue thumb:
Or.......I may just leave the camera at the lock-up and enjoy the ride :)

Just getting tea tonight and a very noisy jet screamed above the house, banked towards Liverpool airport. We get a couple of jets a month but military helicopters every week, am I allowed to say this in public oops
