The seeds were waiting for us when we got home :dbgrtmb:. I hope Mrs shiney remembers where she has put them :heehee:

We're still trying to catch up after being away for five weeks :)

    "how is the move going"

    Stressfully!

On the plus side, looks like a new house is on the horizon, and it has blank-sheet gardens front and back.

    Ziggy,
I like the idea of sowing a cannabis plant outside the nick.
I'd br trying to plant a whole field of them just to wind some of them up.:D:D

That's a shame andrew, well at least you have some possibilities for your next new house.

Shobhna, you wouldn't be trying to wind up your ex by any chance? :heehee:

Shiney, glad you got your seeds (but then lost them! :P)

They'd love it Shobhna. I got pulled whilst slightly under the influence. I.E. too stoned to run away.

The policewoman knew a girl I was with & decided to turn all of us over. I was bundled into the back of the cop car & put the quarter of hash down the back of the seat.

Spent most of the night in Guildford nick after being strip searched. Kept waiting for them to bring the quarter in from the car & waive it in my face, but it didn't happen.

2 weeks later, I got a message from the cop that took me in, via a friend.

    Message read,

"Thanks for the pot, it was very good"

I hope you are reading this "Guildford Constabulary" I hope you realise your "officers" are more corrupt than politicians.

And on an similar note, to the two coppers that turned me over when I was planting spuds on my allotment in Peasemarsh near Guildford.

    You didn't give me;

    1. A reason for the search.

    2. Your names, badge numbers & station you were attached to.

    3. Copy of the search details.

As required under the then relevant police & criminal evidence act.

Best police force in the world ? I don't think so. More like an old boys club that thinks it can get away with what ever it likes.

Rant over, they know who they are & what they've done.

Post Script : I don't do drugs anymore but I can sympathise with those that still do.

I've just come across this for the first time. Am I too late? I don't think I'll stand a chance of winning but would love to give it a go. I once managed to grow a 6ft thistle:)

Cheers JWK. I only started them off in the summer, they got to about a foot high and stopped. I planted a few in a tray about six weeks ago, they've got to about an inch high and... are having a think about things. Will be starting some more when everyone else does here!

I've been holding off the temptation too, planted a few summer purple sprouting broccoli a few weeks back & they have been very slow to get away without the light levels. Only just getting their second leaves now.

I'm waiting till mid March to start sowing, I plan to sow them indoors in my (unheated) propogater, then keep them indoors for a month then transfer them to a cold frame or maybe the greenhouse.

I don't think we have set any rules, what does the panel think about using a greenhouse to begin with - is it unfair to the people that don't have one?

Don't think that would give an unfair advantage, as not being a greenhouse crop, they will probably get a bit sappy.

I would imagine they need a bit of buffeting (is that a real word:what:) by the wind to harden them up.
