    Measured mine this morning, 88"
Can only just reach the growing point on tip toes..

Slightly clearer shot from this angle, second tallest on right is 72".

Finally I've got three growing in my Tropical border, tallest one is 60", I was expecting more from them but they have been outpaced by the bananas and cannas. They are on the very right of the photo below.

Wow! Well done John! Well just out of interest, my tallest is 47", then two at 45" and one at 40". I have included a shot of our 'garden' so you can see that trying to grow walking stick cabbages might not have been the best use of time for me at this stage! The nettles are taller, the brambles are as thick and when ppl ask how the garden is coming along - all I can show them is a few walking stick cabbages in a clearing!

...also, I actually took photos three days ago and the tallest cabbage then was about 43"...so it's grown 4" in this mini heatwave!

              [IMG] John... :hapfeet:

The only ones of mine that survived were the ones in pots, the ones planted out at the farm didn't make it, the ones left around up there in pots did survive but mine are not a patch on yours John.. :D
[IMG]This old planter had 2 in it, the tallest 51 1/2" smallest 26"

              This one only made 28"

              This one managed 40 1/2"
Considering they were ignored most of the time & we forgot to water them on several occasions so that they were yellow & floppy, they are a bonus... Soo.
              51 1/2"
              40 1/2"

              26"

Yes shiney it's a corkscrew hazel, I thought mine was big till I saw yours at your open day!
I've got a few shrubs safe in my veg patch waiting till I've finished the house extension, then they will go back to the front garden borders.
