A thank you John for sending the seeds - they arrived in the post today, along with instructions.

I can't promise a great result from me (I'm not brilliant with veg) but I shall enjoy the competition and the challenge :)

Not seen a postman since the snow came, just a few badger prints leading to the letter box.

I'm most definately in on this, sounds like a lot of fun.

I wont be making no walking stick though, will a javelin suffice?

John, many thanks. the seeds have arrived and I have been talking to them and telling them of how tall they will grow.
    Can seeds hear? :-)
Anyway, I will follow the instructions slavishly and see what comes up.
