So getting through it quite quickly then Capney. They don`t call them classics for nothing.

Anna Karenina next and then perhaps some Pushkin?

I found the first 600 or so a bit slow at setting the scene but now theres some action I am getting into it.
I have to say that I am reading it using my e book and do feel so much more at ease reading that then a mighty volume balanced on my lap.

Are you actually enjoying it though, or finding it a strain to get through?

I am enjoying it. Although it is a challenge getting to grips with Russian names and attaching them to the charactors.

Capney, I seem to remember reading War & Peace many moons ago, although I can't remember if I finished it, but knowing that I used to read everything in sight, I most probably did.

Lord of the Rings is a good book too and worth a read.
    so is Anna K.

    good luck and enjoy.
I keep saying that when I have more time I will read more, sort out my stamp collection and the rest.................:thumb::thumb:

Same with me ... must get up in the loft and "declutter" as they say.
I have so much up there that needs sorting, including my stamp collection. photograpths, record collection and a whole host of house stuff.
Maybe come the spring, but then there will be other stuff to do, like the garden. Cant win really, but I ought to do it before I cant get up the loft ladder!

I am very ambivalent about the ebook but if you like it cool :)

Don't tell us the ending of W&P. I might consider tackling it over Christmas
