    Of course, my rates are very reasonable. We have a couple of stables which are empty, nice comfy rubber matting on the floors, lovely spring water on tap to drink and small burn to wash in. All mod cons then really:) Only small snag is that in a months time you'll have to share the accommodation with about dozen Swallows and all that goes with them nesting and bringing up multitudinous babies! Bring some sort of headgear to protect yourself from the inevitable well aimed bird dits and expect to be woken up about 5am most mornings.

              I miss the gentle sound of the hand pushed mowers on a Sunday afternoon that fitted well with the soft tones of John Arlott commentating on the cricket.

                Me too! Except, in the summer, it is the noise of tractors or the machines they run in the barn throughout the night. Let's not forget (as if we could!) the delightful aroma of manure cast over the fields like it is going out of fashion. :heehee:
                Have to say I do prefer that to the sounds of smells of living elsewhere though.
