    Cucumbers wake up each morning and think of another way to die, I'm afraid :(

    Raise at least twice as many plants as you need, and you might get just enough to plant out ... :(

    Continuing going off topic here, but I've been experiencing lower & lower germination rates on bought outdoor cucumber seed, followed by a general failure to thrive/base of stem rot on germinated seedlings.

    Survival rates have been increased by adding JI#1 to the sowing medium.

    Anybody else been having this problem?
