    Waiting for it to flower has been glacially slow because it has been so cold. We still have the central heating on in the middle of May! Piccie taken with Coke can for size comparison. We will get a summer, won't we?

      I have the wood burner going every night still. Ridiculous :mad:

      That is a brute :blue thumb:

      I've given up on that idea now. I wish that I'd grown more winter blooming Salvia now.

              It's reached its final length, over 9 feet long with a stem circumference of 9" at the bottom. (and there I was, hoping it would get bigger and gobble up all the neighbours!) :)
              It must be some weight for the plant to support, particularly as it's hanging out sideways instead of straight up.

                      I've been told that apparently the flowers don't open any further. :(

                      It's a very much "in your face" plant in the garden, though. :)
