Rather far from marvellous by the sounds of it!

I watched Thirteen Days. It's about the action in the Oval Office during the Cuban Missile crisis. I'm not sure how factual it is, but it was a very good watch. Kevin Costner does this kind of thing very well.

Possibly Pacinos finest moment? Either this or Carlittos Way anyway. Must dig that out - got it somewhere.............

Hmm, that's a difficult one, have you seen Scent of a Woman? he is excellent in that.

Yes, and he was good. But in Donnie Brasco his character looks defeated from the start. He knows how his time will end but he realises that he's gone too far down the road to turn back.
And in Carlittos Way, he's a bad guy that you root for.
For me they're his two best roles.

Best scene - the scene with De Niro over a cup of coffee in Heat. (Language alert)

I have never seen Heat, it never seems to be on the TV is it worth buying the DVD? I will add it to my 'Pacino' collection. :) I also like Joe Pesci, class act in Raging Bull and Goodfellas!!!
Guess what I'm watching tonight? Columbo with Peter Falk!!

We watched Rush the other night, and really enjoyed it. Worth a watch even if you are not into F1 etc.

Oh, and for the record - Peugeot 406 - I had a 1998 one, and it was one of the biggest HOS that I have ever had.

I thought that you'd watched the 1991 film Rush for a moment as I keep forgetting the Ron Howard film. If you can find the 1991 film it's well worth watching. It's about two undercover narcotics cops and really excellent (although not an easy watch).

On the "fleet" I still have a 1997 2.1td - done 427000 miles (not a typo) on the original engine and box! The handbrake is still pants though!
