Glad you've still got a sense of humour Pal! Heard about the looters on the news - as if everybody hasn't got enough to cope with!

Hope your electric and water supplies are ok - how will we know what's going on if you can't use your computer???

Shouldn't have laughed at BM's picture but couldn't help it. Was it going for an insurance assessor?

Best wishes though to those of you affected by the rain.

I had to laugh at BM's shark too. :D
It's either that or cry, hope the rain has stopped , so you can start the lovely clearing up...never suffered from flooding but had a fire once, imagine it's about the same devastation. Good Luck

Pal - my heart goes out to you and Mrs Pal - and to all those poor people who don't have help at hand....

I am staggered at the force of the water swirling around your legs - it must have been raging down the road - its amazing there has been no-one swept away. Its gojng to take months to repair all the damage.

    Take care

    (love BM's shark too!!!!)

Yes in Gretton Road, I will have to find out if they are hit :( Fortunately they are higher up than the village. Sudley Castle Cottages are pretty low and right next to the stream. I hope they are ok.

The clean up continues here. The damp smell gets a bit too much at times now despite the de-hum's running constantly.
    What about this>>
I contacted the Insurers early Saturday and was told seperatly by both Contents and then Building that the Company of 'Cunningham Lindsay' would be here ASAP..it was a relief to discover one company would deal with both claims..however we heard nothing when our neighbours were swarming with Emergency clean up teams and Assessors..so Mrs Pal got on the blower yesterday and got stuck in to them only to find that they hadn't any info on us! We are now on the 'Urgent' list!
I have also found out that next door are with the same company and they were told a visit would be made a week today!..They rent the property and so rather stupidly have not cleaned properly.. I went round last night and it stinks like rotten meat. I suggested they contact Environmental Health.. [IMG]

:( Oh Pal I am so sorry to hear that, These pesky insurance companies.. Only too ready to releive one of ones money for the policy... But then seem to deal with claims in their own time...!!!!!  I am so glad Mrs Pal gave them a peice of her mind. I am sure that spurred them into action....!!! :D Best of luck with it Pal. It is drizzling away here again today.. Just found out that our couz' who lives at Westbury on Severn is safe with friends.... She has been flooded out too. Mind you her garden goes right to the severn..!!! [IMG]

Thinking of you Pal. Hope your house dries out soon..... [IMG]

It does get a bit sickly & cloying at times that damp smell, hope your neighbours will be alright as well......
