Superb, Pal, and I agree with Marley he is really pleased to be home, quite thankful actually. [IMG]

I love frogs ... dare I say my nickname is Froglet! At one time I had a collection of over 300. For what it's worth, it had something to do with sunglasses nearly forty years ago ... :D :D

Thank you mef750..a very kind offer [IMG]

Folks, the Frog wasn't mine. But I did find the owner [IMG] ...he lives two doors away and I also found two of his gnomes which he doesn't know about. I will be taking photo's of them in surrounding villages and sending the pic's to him along with notes explaining that they are lost and trying to find their way back home.. :D
I did this to a mate a while ago and kept it going for a couple of years...
    ;)
    Here's one of the boys
    [IMG]
And his mates that are looking for him..

We are just a bit more opportunist up here in Yorkshire - here is how you really cope!

I just caught up with your thread Pal as I have off since sunday when your sad news first broke. Don't hesitate to ask if you want any plants or cuttings or dare I say to borrow my books on damp gardening if things look set to continue. I might add that it is surprising how fast things like lawns and most plants do recover as long as you have not been submerged to the point of plants actually drowning which would be several weeks.

    GOOD LUCK

Did you hear the (true?) story of somebody living in Gloucestershire - received a text from neighbours who are holidaying in the Bahamas 'PLEASE REMEMBER TO WATER OUR GARDEN'

Hope you don't think that is too unkind Pal, and anybody else affected.

    :D That's ok jjordie,I think it's funny anyway!

Just the fact that flood water was inside the PC cupboard and other Goods is enough to make them unsafe, either electrically or for health reasons.
We are STILL waiting for the loss adjuster to visit even though we are insured with the same companies as neighbours that have been seen!
Waco it's the original vinyl flooring tiles that are lifting as they dry and the kitchen end boards have split so far..I reckon the skirtings will have to come off and plaster replaced too.
