Just heard about your bad luck, Pal - it must be absolutely awful, not just the floods and the aftermath, but all the hassle with the insurance afterwards.

Liked the shark pic, though! :D

Why whats the problem Pal - I presume the loss adjustor has been - what did he say - and more importantly what does your policy say?.

I know a bit about insurance - but am no expert?

Hello folks..I've not been in for a few days because I have been sorting out the Insurance.
Today the company informed me that the repair quotation has been accepted and also I agreed on the contents price they offered. The other thing that had to be arranged was alternative accommodation, and soon we will be moving to a farm cottage up on the Cotswold hills..
Don't know how long the work will take but I expect I'll be doing the ripping out because the builders I work for have got the job! Probably won't be online for the duration as My PC will be mothballed upstairs here with the first floor sealed off.

Good news and bad I suppose. Glad it's being sorted Pal but it's not what you want to go through, moving out and back in will be a pain, let's hope it doesn't take too long,.

More news from my boss today,he has put me to the front of the works list and the start day could be next Thursday. Now we have to arrange to 'switch off'here and the 'switch on'up at the farm to lessen disruption to Mrs Pal's business.

Sorry to hear of all this disruption, Pal and Mrs Pal. Our thoughts are certainly with you and hopefully things will go quickly as it's your builders.

    Home for Christmas? [IMG] [IMG]
