Adeus, meu amigo ... we won't forget you. [IMG] Perhaps you can do like others and occasionally find an internet cafe! [IMG]

Mrs Pal is chuffed to bits now she has an ideal area for her Childminding kiddies to play on.

[IMG] Wow.. What an idyllic view to set you up for a good day..!! [IMG]

The patio looks superb & what an improvement, if you don't mind my saying..
It was really nice, but this is so much more "user friendly" especially as Mrs Pal has the kiddies to look after too. A smashing little play area for them by day.. Nice little area for you & Mrs Pal to relax in on those balmy summer evenings & days!!! ;) :D I bet you will have all sorts of new containers & plants now .. :D

Well I hope you & Mrs Pal will be home soon, but I think I could just about "get by" :D on that view any day...!!! Good Luck with the works to come.. Do keep us posted... [IMG]

Looking good, Pal ... I'll just have to look and admire from afar I'm afraid. We're so pleased all is going well. Keep up the good work. [IMG]

Hello strangers!..nice to see you all ,I don't get the time at the moment to log in. We have at last been given the go ahead to begin rebuilding our home now it's dry enough.
We are still living in the farm cottage, this is one of the two lakes on the hill above us about two hundred yards away..

Nice place but we are desperate to get back home and I have been working in the garden and repairing the boundries..I have just rebuilt the safty gate and panels...Mrs Pal scored me top brownie points for the work ;)

    hi pal
have just today looked through all of this thread. am a newbie of a month or so on here so it takes some time to catch up.
i saw this topic looking back through and it's taking me an hour to read it from the start. what i really admired was your/others sense of humour. how you could appreciate jokes at that really awful time, well!!!! but you did. good on you.
i don't know the circumstances at all, but you must admit you had a lovely intermediate place. blimey(***** to put it nicely) what a lovely place it looks. know there's alot of **** going on in your house, but at least you know what it is, seeing as you are the 'boss' there.
it's disgusting the way insurance companies go on, no matter the reason why.

so glad you are on the road to 'normal'.
let us know with pics. i think it really brings home to us (know we can see news etc) that are not going through it how awful it is, cos we are all sort of friends.

good to know on here if anyone has a prob, someone will offer to help too.
