You really have a great attitude to life Pal and I admire you for it I think this quotation sums it up.
ââ?¬Å?The Great Universe. Do you know that your bodies are made of some of the same substances that are found in the sun and other stars? You are a sample of the great Universe. So do not let little things trouble you but think and act as if you were a part of a bigger world than the little earth upon which you live.ââ?¬Â E.B. Frost

Hi Pal here's hoping that next summer will be an awful lot kinder to you and Mrs.Pal and that you will be able to enjoy your garden without the swimming pool you had in it this year! ;) Helen.xxx.

Hi Pal, you seem to be getting a lot done now. With all the hard work and heartache you stay remarkably cheerful. I'm not sure I could manage it. It reminds me of the old saying. "Happiness is not an absence of problems; but the ability to deal with them."

You're an inspiration to others. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Thank you folks..I try my best! [IMG]

Here we are now with a new patio complete with a new shed and a few of the pot plants from Mum in law, recently departed.
The patching of the lawn is causing trouble due to the amount of soil needed to fill the gap as it keeps sinking, so I've emptied a compost bin of mulch into it this morning and am off to buy some spent mushroom compost to add to it too.

    Hi Marley..
No,we are still living away and trying to put the house back together at weekends which is a real struggle as the builders keep getting stuff wrong and putting things back!..They even chipped the shower tray which now has to be taken back out meaning the tiles will have to be redone. It tends to get you down.... :(
The garden is ok though and Mrs Pal is well pleased with her patio and new shed....so that's a blessing ;)

Back to the painting now..just popped in see how you all are [IMG]

I have also painted a little today. It was very handy to have a nice cold, so I could not smell the paint!

[IMG] Hi Pal, so nice to hear from you again, but sorry to hear you are still away from home... That must be so rotten for you both now we have the cold weather & dark evenings. I really hope the builders can get it right for you for Xmas..!! Hopefully if you are decorating now you are getting closer... Think I speak for all of us, that we miss your banter on GC & hope you will soon be home again... [IMG] [IMG]
