Waterbridge beans

    My Polestar beans have a few ready for picking now. I'll see how the Bridgwater are progressing as well as I planted them together. They seemed to be a couple of weeks behind the runner beans.

    Just cleared the Bridgwater beans for this year so thought I'd give an opinion on them.

    They were by far my best performers, growing very strongly with healthy foliage all through summer and lots of beans. My feeling about them is that they are very unforgiving in the stringiness department however! You have to get them very early or you end up with a mouth full of old rope lashings. Taste wise they were good.

    All round I'd recommend trying them out but I'll be testing another variety next year
