I've temporarily taken up smoking again. The weather is miserable and I'm bored because work and martial arts, which ordinarily keep me focused on other stuff, are closed over the Christmas period.

Walking out this morning under low level, grey clouds blasting past, I felt really hacked off with this weather and wanted to get on with things ...

            Seed (onion) sowing started today.

Revised Excel spreadsheet for 2016 started today!

Take some pics and post them to cheer us up.

I've just booked a 3 nights £99 hotel bargain out of season break in the South West for mid January as I'm going stir crazy waiting for spring. Bargain Sun Holiday bookings will be starting soon

I'm not a fan of this time of year, the dark mornings & evenings do nothing for me! I like bright days, bird song & warm weather! As you all know we've had our annual holiday cancelled which is normally what keeps me going during the winter! Let's all focus on spring bulbs...that will give us all something to look forward too :hapydancsmil:

Our cultural Turkey trip last month was £149 for eight days which included flights, four and five star hotels B&B, coach trips and guide. Additional payment could be made for full board and more excursions. It's the second one we have done this year (other was in Feb) and had a really good time. :dbgrtmb:
