[IMG] Every year, the weather seams to try & trick us it seems. I know exactly what you mean, we have all been wandering around in T-shirts today!! Trouble is the plants in the green house seem to get a bit confused with it all!!! Some of them seem to think spring is closer than it is. I hate all this running up & down for the heaters as well!! Ho hum. At least it isn't the same as friends who live in Newfoundland. When I spoke with them last week, they had 10" of snow so far & -18c with a wind chill of -28c......!! Not for me that, the outdoor growing season is much shorter where they live....... Still that is what they are used to, & love.

Yes Pete, noticed forecast for snow next week - yuk!

I've got a few extra veggies etc etc on top of Christmas supplies as I, like MD, hate going out in the snow if I don't have to.

Having said that, sorry for the little 'uns that like their sledges and snowmen so perhaps we can survive just a few days of snow.

As long as it goes as fast as it comes please - I don't want a repeat of 63. Don't get me wrong I like snow (now that I am not working that is), but I hate when it packs down and becomes like a skating rink - whether your in car on or foot.

Haven't seen how long its supposed to last - looking at the four week forecast the winds are supposed to go back to the west - but I would be happier if that happened on Wednesday.

Lovely digging weather today - even sat out in the sun.

We've got a bit of the wet stuff, now and again, seems to be on a bit more this evening, but its still wet.
You know its bad when it hits the ground and blows about, its not like that at the moment.

Woke up to a slight covering - melted and then a bit more to coat the grass and plants as the temperature plummeted. Hopefully everyone has got away lightly and will continue to do so.

This was the pond last night.

This was the view from the front door, under orange street lights.

And this is the Australian bottlebrush wishing it was at home.

Lovely pictures Rich -that was about the covering that welcomed me this morning. Melted a bit during the day - but its freezing hard again this evening. Not for much longer I hope, the roads are glassy.

It reached a max of +1 deg C here today, and at 3pm it was already at -1 deg C. Blimey I hope the thaw comes soon, even if it means loads of rain.

[IMG] These sheep are even finding it cold at night, they are waiting for breakfast to come, which is on it's way. They can hear the tractor coming & have all shambled up to eat. It was -8 here last night according to the outside thermometer!!!!

They've changed it now to light showers.

If I did my job like the weathermen I'd be sweeping streets now.
