Well it is January after all - or will be in a few hours time. What I wish for is that spring comes early in March, and that there are no, absolutely no late frosts/snow in April and May - well I can dream can't I!! :D

Well, if we all moved to Kent, Pete, the country would up-end itself and us up here would be like Leo Dicaprio and Kate Winslett on the top of the Titanic!

    Thats made me think MD

what would happen if too many people went to the loo at the back of the plane!

If you jump up in the air in the aisle of the plane do you come down a bit further along?

Got to go, my brain is hurting

According to the BBC weather site we can expect snow in Kent on Friday.

I'd like to move anywhere that doesn't have red spider mite. It's the bane of my life and on my plumeria seedlings now.

[IMG] Don't know how big your plumeria seedling are but a good way of getting rid or at least keeping some control of Spider mite at this time of year is to spray them with iced water at night then keep the temp cool for the night. Of course I'm not sure how your seedlings will cope with it as I have never grown those, but that is what I do & have had reasonable success. I wish they hadn't done away with the vapona's as they kept them away completely. I have only had spider mite problems since they were taken off the market..!!! You can still buy Vapona type things in other countries called "NO Pest Strips" I am going to try & bring some home from my hols in the USA in the spring.... ;) I think spider mites are the or one of the banes of a gardeners life.. Hope this might help a bit anyway... :(

I remember talking to a retired farmer many years ago and I asked him why he kept 5 sheep in small field. He said if I did'nt have them I would have nothing to complain about.
What's the last thing to go through a flys mind when he hits the windscreen of your car ? answers on a postcard please.
Trying to be cheerful pouring down and no football. bum.
