Only flown there once, Mrs K had a business meeting in Edinburgh in the morning and her flight was "second person for a tenner" or something stupid like that, so I flew up with her,"did" the Castle, admired the view, bought myself a Hunting, Shooting, Fishing [none of which do I do!] jacket, had a nice lunch with Mrs K and we both flew home in the afternoon ...

 

That's Lancashire isn't it? "Haggis in the sky" doesn't have the same ring, somehow

How come it's Scotland's oil? Did Westminster not put a single penny into setting up the infrastructure? And did Westminster not pay a single penny to the Royal Navy and HM Coastguard to keep an eye on it to make sure no outside parties tried to nick it?

 

That`s a big part of my argument too.
Herr Salmond seems to think this is 'Scotchlands' oil and ours alone. I don`t think it`s as easy as that.

He`s just given a shed load of money to INNEOS in Grangemouth to build a jetty to import cheap 'fracked' gas from the States. What does he think he will do with the much more expensive North Sea gas? What will the consumer want......cheaper or more expensive gas? He really doesn`t have a clue.
