Hi @Apple Blossom, I have it in my front flowerbed it's a flipping nuisance! I've dug it & dug it & weeded & weeded some more, but I can't get rid of it. My biggest problem is my neighbour has it in her flowerbed which backs on to mine so I'm fighting a loosing battle. I hope you managed to get rid of yours :grphg:

Evening @Beckie76, it's a nightmare isn't it, feel more sorry for you due to it coming from your neighbours. I can't believe how quickly it grows back. Luckily I don't have that problem, but 'it's' going to have a problem tomorrow :snork: I truely believe I'll never get rid of it having been investigating it on the Internet but if I can control it I'm a happy bunny :hapydancsmil:

I couldn't agree more, I keep mine under control & never let it flower! thats the best I can do!
I bought some roundup gel ( you dab it on the leaves & it's suppose to kill it off, it doesn't kill other plants because it dries quickly??? So far I've not seen any improvement.......BUT I'm not giving up :nonofinger::paladin:. I hope you have better luck than me.

I'll try the roundup Gell around the plants where they are in tight, thanks for the tip :)

I had Ground Elder once, it was a gift from a neighbour who through some roots over the fence, i didn't see them and it went mad, in the end i dug it out, you have to get every bit of root or it will regrow and the roots can go down deep, it was around the roots of other plants so out they came, cleaned all there roots off, replanted some were else for time being, when clear of Ground Elder they got planted back

Thank you @Jiffy :) I would do that if it was in just one area, but it's everywhere, if I dug a plant up, cleaned it and moved it into another area I would just be putting it into another infested area and some of the shrubs/flowers are way toooo big for me to move lol, I'm off to the garden center to get some SBK and round up Gell, I haven't been spraying every week but feel if I keep at it I may start to get in front of it. :stirpot:
