And about that cutting the flower stalk down when they have finished flowering; IMHO do not do this. They are far far more likely to re-flower if you just leave the stalk alone, I don't know why but it has been my almost continuous experience that those cut back are shy flowering afterwards. I suspect most of the Phalaenopsis I get to see aren't that well looked after, so every little helps them along. good luck!!

Thanks jazid, I shall remember that! ;)

Thinking of getting some sort of tray to go under it and fill with pebbles and water for moisture....perhaps colour to go with colour of flowers? Is that a bit over the top, any thoughts/suggestions? It will be on the bathroom window cill.(east facing)

Elaine, love the Cosmos! Regarding your postings, I use two windows, side by side, Photobucket in one, GC in the other. Then I say my bit on GC, do a few carrier returns to come down, go over to Photobucket, copy the photo then paste it in GC. Then I go a couple of carrier returns down from my link, go back over to Photobucket, copy another photo and then post it in GC, carrier return a few times .... etc? Does that make sense to you?

The enter key at your right pinky. [IMG] This way each link is on a different line and you can type whatever you want in between the links.
