Re Yucca of course size is every thing....When I moved to this house in Cambridge 30 years ago some one gave me this indoor plant...Nasty thing I got stabbed on it more than once so out side it went...It just liked the sheltered position by the back door facing north and grew and grew the last year I was there a Robin nested in it and the chicks used to come in and pinch the dogs food. You really want a golden hop Liz? they are very invasive but the tits always nested in it I did bring a tiny piece of root to Dorset where it is looking good even after spending the summer in my daughters garden.....along with a few other bits and pieces another thing I was really immpressed with was a thistle I will put that up for you to see ...Sainsburys £2.00

You've definitely cracked the posting pics, Rosietu!! :D Love the pic of the bee! And I've just planted a hop in my hedge - it's going to be some hedge! Whenever we get another climbing plant that's where it goes! We want to encourage lots of wildlife from over the back fence, which is railway land, and there are loads of birds out there - so, fingers crossed!! Hard to dig like that, though!
