WHAT’S LOOKING GOOD IN APRIL 2019..

I took a wander round the garden with the camera. It's difficult to get good shots in brilliant sunshine - especially of white blossom .

Whites and blues (sort of )

A mixture of colours

Part of our fairyland

Primulas, primroses and cowslips in abundance




with about ten large patches like this around the trees

 

Our Magnolia, only just starting, is a late flowering one that will flower through to July


Artichoke and rhubarb - an unusual combination that I haven't yet tried in a pie


Arum italicum - perfect for flower arranging


Sun breaking through to our shady area whilst the trees haven't got their full leaf


Camellia has been blooming since November


Hostas are just popping up




We have ten of these pots with them in, as well as them dotted around the beds

Heucheras are just waking up






Some babies that we have just put in an area that we cleared of Viburnum
