      Nice sanguisorba Verdun, so many flowers! Which one is it, that 'Pink Elephant' cultivar? They sound perfect for the location of your garden! :smile:

        Not pink elephant Nick.....it’s S. Hakusanensis (without checking I think I’ve spelled that right!) Lilac Squirrel :)

        This is Pink Elephant..... Well past it’s best now but flowered beautifully from late spring to mid summer.

              Thanks for the kind and encouraging comments, Caroline and Upsy! You're right Upsy, I have only really been gardening for a couple of years, lots to learn yet. I will try to see it more as an enjoyable journey, I'm far too impatient and all I see are the failures, not the successes. The victories are few, but I'm sure they will increase over time. :)

                New addition Hydrangea strong Annabelle with a another new plant Sanguisorba Scapino which I am a bit disappointed with flowers are much smaller than expected , I were thinking more like lilac squirrel but red with slightly smaller flowers. Maybe next year it be better otherwise its out :catapult:

                    Excellent garden Perki :)......don’t give up on S. Scapino just yet. I find they are at their best from year 2....size and flower power :)

                                Mine hasn't produced a single bloody flower yet! :roflol: Must be due to it being so young... hope I at least get to see what they look like in the flesh! :heehee:
