          I have an old family bible dated 1867, which has passed down through many generations of my family.
          It's one of those huge leather bound weighty tomes, about 3 inches thick and weighing in at an impressive 9lbs!*
          I have to admit it's something I hardly ever read, but I could never get rid of it, simply because it's been in the family for so long (and there's also a little part of me which wouldn't dare throw it away anyway, just in case!)
          *I know this because I just weighed it on the bathroom scales. The kitchen ones weren't big enough!

            (Shocking) ! I just remembered,I have my mothers wedding ring in a jewellery box.
            She and my Dad were married in 1929 ,both aged 19,and two of my Daughters were married age 19.:).

            I have a rare copy of 'A manual of Injurous Insects and Methods of Prevention'. 1881
            by E A Ormerod, she was a renown Victorian Botanist.
