The rain is coming down at a steady pace now but I' ve managed cleaning up 2 more areas . I cut the Hardy Fuchsia right back ( as we do every year) and had peek under the pots covering the sleeping Dahlias, and just carried out a general tidy up . Just a tidy was required for the raised border on the lower patio.

I'm now in the dry under cover of the greenhouse with my coffee and classical music sowing more seeds. Zinnias, Godetia and Cosmos ( several varieties of the Z and C.

The first mow of the lawn, as it was the third dry day in a row :) plus, it's started to grow. Cut back the vine and tidied up. It's great to have it all looking tidier.

I'd keep quiet about it or we'll all want the same.

Another miserable wet day. I had some peat delivered for some disa orchids I'd ordered - they won't grow in normal compost (even though they're terrestrial) or bark. At least I was potting them up in the greenhouse...

Hi, I searched in the forum. I remembered someone wanted achimenes. Did you get more achimenes?
I just potted mine and have some rhizomes left, that already woke up.
I can send them free. Some varieties are few, some many. All named.

@Loofah I once had a lawn thing like that. It took out cores of soil to replace with gritty mix. It was jolly hard work

That's the idea as the lawn needs it. I was curious as to the effort and if the tools actually work or fall apart!
