Gosh @LunarSea that looks high! I think I'll stick to having the Wolf tools with very long pole - the pruning saw is very sharp - and my Ryobi pole saw (chain saw on a stick)

Just a little bit done in the UK garden before the 9 hour drive back to Belgium this afternoon…

I’ve inspected the fencing work that was finished yesterday morning in the downpour…:blue thumb: good job!!

…then I made a start at putting in the corrugated sheeting dividers for the new compost bays. There’s a pile of flat stones where I wasn’t expecting, but the first upright bar is in place. Couldn’t do as much as I wanted, as didn’t want to be too achy for the drive back. But the start feels gooood!

Pruned back the outdoor grapes. Cut up some of the big branches from the oak tree we had to cut down as it was dead and dangerous. Moved a pile of grape vine cuttings which had been left in the orchard after we removed a very reluctant vine in Dec.

Had glorious weather on Saturday in between Friday and Sunday's storms. Managed to finish mulching all my beds (a job I started late November) and even had time to give the wisteria its big winter prune.

Dug over an area of a new allotment I've taken on. Planning on putting some gooseberry bushes, blackcurrant bushes and white currant bushes in next weekend,.

Even if it hadn't rained on and off all day the ground is far too wet to dig on my plots at the moment.

Refilled the birdbath and, as it was too wet to do anything else, made a mental note of what needs to be moved or removed when the time is right :).

I’ve got 10 new plants arriving today to accommodate, after that the rest of the garden can relax @ViewAhead, for the time being .

Another wet day so nothing again, did order some Achimenes rhizomes from Dibleys yesterday.

Just 6 small Heucheras in 9cm pots @ViewAhead, 3 Berberis and a Cotoneaster. I've got space after removing some tall grasses over the winter. I managed to buy them with 50% off in the Crocus winter sale, at just about acceptable prices .
